College Essay

“College is the life-changing experience you will never forget.” When I was younger, I used to think this meant college was a scary place. Through the years, I have gained the knowledge to know that college is actually a life changing experience. College, in general is the one place where you will learn the most to help you excel later in life. Also, there are many fun and unforgettable events in college.
For me, the Science field is what I would like to pursue in my future and to fulfill my goals. Deeper in the science field, I would like to be a Marine Biologist. Marine biology is what I am most interested in because I feel that my best subject is science and math, and I love animals. Also in the science field, I would like to be a neurotic surgeon. I would like to be a surgeon of this sort because surgeries in general interest me and I feel I could excel greatly in this area.
Learning in a college education is also a very important aspect into excelling. Education is important from the very beginning. Kindergarten is where it begins because it is when everyone’s brain starts to develop. We all then move up to the high school levels and soon on to our college plans. After college comes the afterlife.
Finally, how I will get there. I plan to do well in school and pay attention in class. I then plan to finish school with an A average. After high school, I will go to college and go to classes for 8 years. Finally, I plan to get my Masters for a Neurotic Surgeon.  After college, I will reach for the stars and excel in my plans in the future.
College is a life-changing experience that I hope to go to one day. The future is planned for me and I don’t want to give up on my dreams. Education is an important aspect of my learning and experiencing my getting ready for my future. Also, so I excel later in life.

In history, we talked about the Rosenburg trial. In reading, we did a Socrative Review with everybody on the iPads. In band, we went through our new songs. In English, we started with DGP. Then we Peer Reviewed our college writing essays. Then we went to our quarter classes, in which mine is Ag. I hope everyone has a good day and tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!!!

Tubing Essay

There is always that one place that appeals to you, whether it is shady tree to read a book under or even something just as simple as sitting by a lakeshore with your friends. To me, my favorite place to be in Nebraska is tubing on the Niobrara River with my friends during the summertime. I feel the rush of cool water as it hits me with little force. The cold knocks me out but pulls me back in. The golden sun is beating down on by tanned skin and on the azure water. Sparkling like a million diamonds the water, calm and peaceful is interrupted by my friends and our feet.
When I first get out of the car, I smell pine trees and fresh air. It hits me like a whirlwind. The water is softly rippling down the weaved ways. I put my tube in and start my journey. Who knows where it will end. The cool sand from the bed is running through my toes like a race. It tickles, really bad due to the fact that my feet are ticklish. The splashing of the water on the rocks and the giggles of Allison, Haley, and Emily makes this moment in time unforgettable.
I am now floating. The tube is leaning and rocking every which way. My hair, wet from falling in and swimming and my new purple bathing suit is now stuck to my skin. The water is like sweat, on my pores and my hair. My friends are beside me, pushing me in, but I guess I deserve it. I have pushed them so many times that I lost count. The sun, now on top of me in the clear blue sky, I realize it is about noontime. I grab a quick snack and head back out. It is now three o’clock. We are still racing until the sun has met its bed.
The tube has droplets of water stuck to its surface and I have gallons of water all over me. The splashing has now turned to gliding in a split second. I hop out of the water and bundle up in a towel. I look at the water, a glittering turquoise which was once covered by sunlight has now turned to black with speckles of stars in it; a mirror reflection of the sky. I, tired from the day sadly walk back to the car and leave. “This is what I needed. A day of relaxing.” My friends laugh and laugh until their sides hurt. I then look back and see the glittering water.

Ending to the story "The Lady, or the Tiger?"

He walks to the right door reluctantly, thinking of the Princess’s words. The man grabs onto the copper knob, its surface cold; full of hatred and curiosity. With fingers in a tight grip, he changes his perspective to the left door. The crowd with large gasps and pleading expects to only open one door. With a tight grip on the twined doors, squeak, both doors open. Eyes the size of saucers appears on the Greek faces. For, a tiger and a lady didn’t come out of the doors, but two women.

One his wife, the other the princess he was going to marry.

He looked at the princess, wanting the tiger to eat her instead. Then right before his eyes, the beautiful princess turned into a man-eating tiger. Teeth glistened in the sun, stained blood red. Both the wife and the princess knew what was to become of their lives. The princess, hopped off her royal throne and hurled herself into the tragedy-staked arena. The tiger, now full on not one but two people left the arena.

The man woke up screaming, not knowing what would become of him. Today, his fate would soon tell him.
