Where I Am From

I am from IPods and Computers,

from phones that I literally use everyday.

I am from being in kindergarten

to being in 8^th grade.

I am from jungle gyms

to real bars and beam.

I am from play sets and tennis racquets,

to real sports and swimming for fun.

I am from pretending to be Hannah Montana,

to singing really loud with friends.

I am from softball and volleyball,

and all those games we won or lost.

I am from pretending to be a dancer

to going to real dances.

I am from playing tag and hide and go seek,

to playing kick the can and ghost in the graveyard.

I am from those moments, whose stories have changed from a child to

a young adult.
